The Lackmann/Pace Setters Club Golf Classic will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009
The Pace University Department of Athletics and Recreation invites you to participate in the Twelfth Annual Pace Setters Club Golf Classic, which will take place at Hollow Brook Golf Club in Cortlandt Manor, NY on Monday, September 14th.
This event provides an opportunity for alumni and friends to enhance, support, and encourage the academic and athletic growth of all Pace student-athletes. Proceeds from events will be used for facility improvements, equipment, team travel, academic support, and other department initiatives, including the construction of a turf field. From the moment you arrive at Hollow Brook Golf Club, you know that you're in for something special. First, you'll be amazed by the serenity of Hollow Brook. The 6,900 yard layout, set in a valley and bordered on one side by a mountain ridge, offers one striking view after another. The course's design incorporates dramatic elevation changes, gently undulating fairways, mature native trees, lakes and a crystal clear trout stream that runs through the property.
Three stately bridges cross the waterway on this course, and the Hollow Brook stream, for which this facility is named, splits two par-3 holes. While golf carts are allowed, the course is walker-friendly and walking this course gives the feeling of a hiking trip through the hills and woods of Westchester County.
