Dr. Les Mayers is entering his 15th year at Pace University as the team physician for all of Pace’s Athletic teams. He frequently serves as an adjunct lecturer for Pace University’s College of Health Professions
He has previously worked in numerous private practices as well as White Plains Hospital and served as the Medical Director of White Plains YMCA.
Dr. Mayers has been a volunteer physician for the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid NY. He also participated as a venue medical officer and athlete medical physician at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Mayers graduated from the University of Wisconsin under the Ford Foundation Pre-Induction Scholarship. He received his MD from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. Dr. Meyers attended the University of Pennsylvania for his Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship in the Department of Physiology; Division of Graduate Medicine.
Dr. Mayers currently resides in Pleasantville with his wife Nancy. They have 2 children, Michael and Matthew, and 5 grandchildren.
