SETTERS TAKE FIRST GAME OF DOUBLEHEADER, 16-7
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE – The Pace University baseball team won
the first game of a doubleheader against Wilmington College,
16-7. David Qualben (Bronx, NY/Xavier)
picked up his second win of the season after pitching five innings
while allowing four runs on five hits while striking out six.
Pace improves to 4-1 with the win while Wilmington drops to
2-3.
Matt Arburr (Bristol, CT/ Bristol Eastern) was
5-for-6 with two homeruns, five RBI and two runs scored.
Brian Hollrah (Glenwood, MD/Glenely) was 4-for-4
with a homerun, four RBI and four runs scored. Adam
Harwood (Los Angeles, CA/Brentwood) was 2-for-4 with a
triple and four RBI. Chris Brown (West Kingston,
RI/South Kingstown) was 2-for-5 with three runs
scored.
On the hill, Zach Dayton (North Falmouth,
MA/Falmouth) pitched one inning in relief, allowing one
two runs on two hits while striking out one. Michael
Sheehy (Pelham, NY/Pelham Memorial) pitched the final
three innings, allowing one run on three hits while striking out
five.
