SETTERS TAKE SECOND GAME OF DOUBLHEADER, 12-4
WILMINGTON, DELAWARE – The Pace University baseball team won
the second game of a doubleheader against Wilmington College,
12-4. Matt Reilly (Denville, NJ/Morris
Knolls) picked up the win to improve to 2-0 after allowing
two runs – one earned – on four hits over five
innings. The win brings Pace to 5-1 on the season, while
Wilmington drops to 2-4.
Jack Cawley (Bronx, NY/Iona Prep) hit his first
homerun of the season and also doubled in a 2-for-4 day with four
RBI and three runs scored. Matt Arburr (Bristol,
CT/Bristol Eastern) was 3-for-4 with a double, triple,
three RBI and two runs scored. Brian Hollrah
(Glenwood, MD/Glenely) was 2-for-4 with a double and three
runs scored while Adam Harwood (Los Angeles,
CA/Brentwood) and Matt McNichol (Staten Island,
NY/Moore Catholic) each collected two hits.
On the mound, Tommy Parry (Philadelphia,
PA/Conestoga) allowed two runs on two hits in one innings
pitched while Earl Oakes (Bristol, CT/Bristol
Eastern) pitched a perfect 7th innings,
striking out all three batters faced.
