NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE ANNOUNCES BASEBALL ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM
ARBURR, BROWN AND MULLEN NAMED TO NE-10 ALL-ACADEMIC FIRST TEAM

SOUTH EASTON, MA - The Northeast-10 Conference has announced the members of the 2007 Baseball All-Academic Team. To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) participated in at least half of the team's competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and 3) completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution. The Northeast-10 All-Academic Teams are chosen by a vote of the Northeast-10 Sports Information Directors.

Juniors Matt Arburr (Bristol, CT/Bristol Eastern) (3.33 GPA/Finance), Ted Mullen (Madison, CT/Choate Rosemary Hall) (3.55 GPA/English) and Chris Brown (West Kingston, RI/Kingston) (3.56 GPA/Criminal Justice) were all named to the Northeast-10 Conference Baseball All-Academic First Team.

Arburr has started in all 41 games he has played in this season and is leading Pace in homeruns (10), RBI's (32), total bases (87), walks (24), slugging percentage (.592) and is tied for the team lead in runs scored with 31.

Mullen has started in all 39 games he has played in and is second on the team in homeruns (4), RBI's (23) and walks (21).

Brown has started in 29 out of 31 games played so far for the Setters. He is batting .253 with 10 RBI's and 11 runs scored. Brown has been solid behind the plate with a .958 fielding percentage.
