PACE UPSETS ST. PETER'S ON PEACOCKS' TURF
JERSEY CITY, NJ (November 4, 2005) - The Saint Peter's College Peacocks (1-8) dropped their seventh straight contest this evening, falling to the Pace University Setters (3-7), 38-27 in front over of more than 2,000 spectators at Cochrane Stadium in Jersey City, NJ. Scott Bonnono was 23-34 for 309 yards and two touchdowns. John Bond and Carl Cowart each had more than 100 receiving yards, as Bond caught eight passes for 181 yards and Cowart caught seven passes for 116 yards.

With the win Bryant improves to 3-1 overall and in Ne-10 play, while Pace drops to 1-3 overall and in the NE-10.

SETTERS SNAP 14 GAME LOSING STREAK, DEFEAT SAINT ANSELM 44-14
PLEASANTVILLE, NY ? The Pace University football team broke a 14-game losing streak that began on November 8, 2003 with a 44-14 win today over Saint Anselm College. The Setters took the lead early, scoring three times in the first quarter, and never gave up a lead. The Setters? 44-point effort is the most for a Pace squad since 1987 when they scored 53 points against Trenton State. The 30-point win is the largest margin of victory since 1996 when the Setters defeated Assumption 34-0. Pace improves to 1-2 overall and against Northeast-10 Conference teams while Saint Anselm drops to 1-2 overall and 0-2 in the NE-10.

SETTERS LAST MINUTE CHANCE FALLS SHORT, STONEHILL WINS 17-13
EASTON, MA ? Senior Bobby Guy?s (Fair Lawn, NJ) last minute interception set up Pace in Stonehill?s red zone trailing 17-13. After two plays, there was a pass to wide receiver senior Keith Locasio (Cedar Grove, NJ) that would have given the Setter?s their first lead and a possible win for the game. However, it was broken up by Stonehill?s defense.
