FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES 2007 RECRUITING CLASS
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Pace Head Football Coach Mike Iezzi has announced a record-breaking incoming recruiting class for the 2007 season. The list includes 41 student-athletes who have committed to be a part of Pace's 2011 class. The incoming class includes top talent from New York, New Jersey, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Georgia, Florida, and California. With more recruits expected to sign in the coming weeks, Coach Iezzi and his staff are optimistic about the 2007 season and beyond.

ANZANO NAMED TO THE 2006 ECAC DIVISION II FOOTBALL ALL-STARS; FIRST TEAM DEFENSE
CAPE COD, MA Pace University senior defensive back Chris Anzano has been named to the 2006 ECAC Division II Football All-Stars, earning First Team Defense honors as announced by the Interim Commissioner of the ECAC Steve Bamford.

ANZANO NAMED TO 2006 DAKTRONICS DIVISION II FOOTBALL ALL-NORTHEAST REGION TEAM
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Pace University senior defensive back Chris Anzano (Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) has been named to the 2006 Daktronics Division II Football All-Northeast Region First Team Defense. Anzano was the top vote-getter for the cornerbacks position, a position which had multiple players selected.

WORCESTER, MA The Pace University football team lost to the Assumption College Greyhounds 19-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up. The Setters finish the season with a 3-7 overall mark and 2-7 in Northeast- 10 play, while the Greyhounds finish 4-6 overall; 4-5 in conference play.

Merrimack improves to 6-3 overall and 6-2 in the` Northeast-10 Conference while the Setters drop to 3-6 overall and 2-6 in conference play.

SPRINGFIELD, MA.-The Pace University football team dropped a Northeast-10 Conference match-up against the Yellow Jackets of American International College, 7-0. Pace drops to 3-5 overall and 2-5 in the NE-10 while AIC improves to 5-2 overall and in conference play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY The Pace University football team lost to Southern Connecticut State University, 28-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pace Field on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. Southern Connecticut improves to 4-3 overall and 4-2 in the Northeast-10 Conference while Pace falls to 3-4 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace University football team lost to the Bryant University Bulldogs in a Northeast-10 conference game by a score of 31-17, this afternoon at Pace Field. The Setters drop to 3-2 overall and 2-2 in the NE- 10, while the Bulldogs go to 4-1 overall and 4-1 in conference play.

SETTERS FORCE 6 TURNOVERS IN 7-2 WIN OVER ST. ANSELM
MANCHESTER, NH At Grappone Stadium on Saturday afternoon, the Pace University football team won a tight defensive struggle against Saint Anselm, by a final of 7-2. With the win, the Setters improve to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Northeast-10. The 3-1 start is the best start for the Setters since 1999. The Hawks fall to 0-4 overall and 0-3 in league play.

SHURYNS TOUCHDOWN ENOUGH AS PACE KNOCKS OFF STONEHILL, 7-0
PLEASANTVILLE, NY Senior fullback Scott Shuryn (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Pompton Lakes) scored the games only touchdown with just under four minutes play in the first half as Pace held Stonehill scoreless, en route to a 7-0 victory, in a Northeast-10 Conference match-up at Pace Field on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. Pace improves to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the NE-10 while Stonehill drops to 0-3 overall and 0-3 in conference play.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY L.I.U.-C.W. Posts ground game was too much for the Pace University defense as the Pioneers roled to 266 yards on the ground en route to a 28-7 victory at Hickox Field in Brookville, NY. Pace goes to 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the Northeast-10 while C.W. Post improves to 2-0 overall and in conference play.

SETTERS WIN SEASON OPENER, 27-14
PLEASANTVILLE, NY Chris Anzanos (Wyckoff, NJ/Ramapo) 56-yard punt return was the exclamation point on the Pace University football teams 27-14 win over Husson College in a non-conference match-up at Pace Field on the Pleasantville campus of Pace University. The win was the first season opening win for Pace since the 2002 season.

SETTERS PICKED 7TH BY NORTHEAST-10 COACHES IN PRESEASON POLL
FOXBORO, MA - Northeast-10 Conference commissioner David Brunk announced the 2006 Northeast-10 Conference Football Preseason Poll at the 2006 Northeast-10 Conference Football Media Day at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. on Tuesday August 1, 2006. The Setters were picked to finish 7th out of 10 teams while receiving one first place vote.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Now-Allah James (Brooklyn, NY), a former Pace University football player and current Pace Athletics Equipment Manager, was named to the 2006 Great Lakes Indoor Football League All-Star Game East team.

TIM KEPPLE ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION
