FORMER PACE FOOTBALL PLAYER NOW-ALLAH JAMES NAMED TO GLIFL ALL-STAR TEAM
PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Now-Allah James '00 (Brooklyn, NY), a former Pace University football player and current Pace Athletics Equipment Manager, was named to the 2006 Great Lakes Indoor Football League All-Star Game East team.
James, who was an offensive lineman for former head coach Greg Lusardi's Setters team from 1996 to 2000, signed with the New York/New Jersey Revolution, one of six teams that comprised the Great Lakes Indoor Football League in its inaugural season. The league consisted of teams from Battle Creek (MI), Marion (OH) and Port Huron (MI) as well as Lehigh Valley (PA), Rochester (NY) and the Revolution.
James was one of six players from the Revolution named to the East team and one of 40 players selected to play in the GLIFL's 1st Annual All-Star game, to be played on August 5, 2006 at 7:05 p.m. at Stabler Arena on the campus of Lehigh University.
