PACE ANNOUNCES THEIR 2008 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace football team has announced their 2008 football schedule. The Setters will open the season on September 6 with a home game against Assumption College at 12 pm.
Pace will open their 2008 schedule with back-to-back home games as they will host Assumption College in a non-conference game scheduled for a noon start on September 6. The following week, Pace will play host to Stonehill College as the Setters will open up their Northeast-10 Conference schedule.
The Setters will hit the road for consecutive weeks, traveling to Saint Ansem College on September 20 for a NE-10 game and on September 27, Pace will stay in Westchester County to battle local rival Iona College at 1 pm.
The Setters will kick off October for an NE-10 home game against Merrimack College on October 4 for a noon start. Pace will again be on the road for two straight weeks, visiting Assumption College in an NE-10 game on October 11 and will face NE-10 foe American International in Springfield, MA on October 18. Pace will wrap up October with a home contest against NE-10 foe Southern Connecticut in a noon start time.
Pace will open November with a road game against the Falcons of
Bentley College on November 1. The Setters will conclude the
regular season on November 8 in a non-conference home game against
Saint Anselm as Pace will celebrate Homecoming 2008 and Senior Day
for a noon start time.
