Pace Athletes Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday at Bedford Road School

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- For the third year in a row, the Pace University Football team visited the Bedford Road School in Pleasantville for their annual "Read Across America" event. Members of the Pace Volleyball team volunteered throughout the morning as well. Each year the Bedford Road School celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday with a theme from one of his famous children's books. Pace Athletes read to classes throughout the school and answered questions about their sport and their favorite books growing up.

"This event is something that our football team looks forward to each year. Our players enjoy reading to each class and answering questions. We're glad this has become an annual event for our program and we will continue to partner with the Bedford Road School in the future" says Head Football Coach Chris Dapolito.

The Pace Football team will be moving into spring practice shortly which will conclude with their annual Spring Game on Sunday April 21 at 1:00 pm. For more information, on the spring football game click here.
