RYAN WILLIAMS NAMED NE-10 AND PRESTOSPORTS/MBWA
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- Pace University junior guard Ryan Williams (Centreville, VA/Paul VI) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference and PrestoSports/Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association Player of the Week for the week ending January 7th. This marks the second time that Williams has been honored as the Player of the Week by the NE-10 and PrestoSports/MBWA.
In two NE-10 conference games, Williams averaged 27.5 points and
5.5 rebounds, while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 53.8
percent from three-point land. In a 70-63 overtime win over
Assumption College on Wednesday January 3rd, he tallied 24 points,
six rebounds and a pair of steals and in a 99-94 victory over
Merrimack College on Saturday January 6th, he scored a career-high
31 points, shooting 12-for-20 from the field and 7-for-12 from the
outside, to go along with five rebounds.
