RYAN WILLIAMS NAMED PRESTOSPORTS/MBWA MEN'S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ROCKVILLE, MD- Pace University (4-4, 2-2 Northeast-10) junior guard Ryan Williams (Centreville, VA/Paul VI) has been named the PrestoSports/Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Player of the Week.
Williams averaged 25.5 points, five rebounds and 5.5 assists in a pair of NE-10 Conference games. In an 87-84 loss coming against Franklin Pierce College, he tallied a game-high 27 points, on 8-for-19 shooting from the field and 6-for-11 from three-point range, while dishing out five assists. Williams followed that performance shooting 10-for-18 from the field and 4-for-8 from long range, finishing with a game-high 24 points; while tying the game-high in rebounds with eight and recording a team-high six assists, as he led the Setters to the 82-66 victory over Southern New Hampshire University.
For his efforts, Williams was also named to the Northeast-10
Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
