"Desmond is as good a big as there is in the NE-10. He can play inside and out and is one of the best big shooters from the outside. His versatility makes him a tough match-up."

Born July 5, 1985...parents are Desmond and Chantel Quincy-Jones...majoring in Business Management.

Desmond enters his senior season ranked 15th all-time at Pace in rebounding (508) and 125 points away from 1,000 for his career. 

2006-07 (Junior):
Named to NE-10 All-Conference Third Team and All-Metropolitan Second Team... Started in all 33 games on the season playing in 992 minutes, averaging 30.1 mpg, good for second on the team... Second on the team in points scored with 461 (14.0 ppg)... recorded 236 total rebounds (7.2 rpg), good for second on the team... shot 51.6% (166-for-322) from the field, including 43.9% (36-for-82) from beyond the arc and 74.4% (93-for-125) from the charity stripe... Also recorded 49 assists, 25 blocks and 29 steals on the year... Set new career game highs in points with 27 on 1/13/07 against UMass Lowell, field goals made with 11 also on 1/13/07 agaisnt UMass Lowell and rebounds with 13 on two different occasions... Recorded five double-doubles on the season... Scored in double figures 27 times, while posting double digits in rebounds six times.

2005-06 (Sophomore):
Played in all 28 games, starting 21...averaged 26.3 minutes per game totaling 735 minutes, good for 2nd on the team...grabbed 68 offensive rebounds, good for 2nd on the team, and 103 defensive rebounds, good for 3rd on the team...collected 171 total rebounds at 6.1 per game, good for 2nd on the team... rebounded in double figures five times...tied for the team lead in blocked shots (35) averaging 1.1 per game...scored 264 points on the season averaging 9.4 per game, good for 4th on the team... scored in double figures 12 times...recorded 4 double doubles...on 11/22/05 against Southern New Hampshire (11 points,11 rebounds)... on 1/5/06 against St. Rose (13 points,12 rebounds)... on 1/21/06 against Assumption (21 points,11 rebounds)... and on 2/18/06 against Le Moyne (12 points,12 rebounds)...his 21 points against Assumption along with the 12 rebounds against St. Rose and Le Moyne were career-highs...also had a career-high 7 assists on 12/19/05 against Caldwell College.

2004-05 (Redshirt Freshman):
Played in 29 games while starting in five...averaged 5.2 points, 3.5 rebounds per game...hit on 62.5% (65-104) from the floor...scored career-high 18 on 8-of-11 shooting against Le Moyne on 2/26/05 in NE-10 Tournament first round win...also had career-high four blocks...first career double-double came against Bloomfield on 12/22/04 with 15 points and 11 rebounds...also had 10 points and 10 rebounds against Franklin Pierce on 1/3/05...

2003-04 (Freshman):
Sat out season via red shirt.

At Rye High School:
All-League and All Section Selection in High School...leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker junior and senior seasons...all Tournament selection at Rye High School Tournament...senior captain.
