Assistant Men's Basketball Coach


Tom Ryder brings a plethera of coaching experience in his first season on the Pace coaching staff.

Ryder began his coaching career at the high school level at Stevens High School in New Hampshire. Ryder continued coaching at various high schools in Massachusetts and Connecticut before moving to the collegiate level. Ryder spent three seasons under Hall of Fame head coach Jim Calhoun at the University of Connecticut and then five seasons at Weslyan College under head coach Herb Kenny.

Coach Ryder has also ran various basketball camps, including serving as the Director of the Robert Parish/Dee Brown basketball camp.

Ryder recieved his undergraduate degree in Physical Education from Keene State College ‘78 and currently works at the Karafin School.

Ryder, a Massachusetts native, resides in Hartsdale, NY with his wife Gail and daughter Ann-Marie (19).
