DAY ONE OF NCAA DIVISION II NORTHEAST REGION MEN'S GOLF TOURNAMENT

WHEELING, WV - The Pace University men's golf team is sitting in second place after day one of the NCAA Division II Northeast Region Golf Tournament at the Speidel Golf Club in Wheeling, WV.  As a team, the Setters shot a 322 (+38) and trail first place Bryant University (319, +35) by three strokes.

Leading the way for the Setters is Dan Psinakis, who finished day one in a two-way tie for first with a score of 75 (+4). Lloyd Notley of Post University also shot a 75 (+4).

Other Pace notables are senior Michael Padham, who is in a four-way tie for 11th place with a score of 79 (+8) and Michael Dominici, who is in a five-way tie for 17th place with a score of 81 (+10). Mark Huntington (87, +16) and Bill Delucia (90, +19) round out the Setters first day.

The second round of the 54-hole event tees off today. The tournament champion advances to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship at The Meadows in Allendale, MI May 22-25.
