DAY TWO OF NCAA DIVISION II NORTHEAST
SUPER REGIONAL
MEN'S GOLF TOURNAMENT
WHEELING, WV - The Pace University men's golf team remains in second place, in the eight-team regional, after day two of the NCAA Division II Northeast Super Regional Men's Golf Tournament at the Speidel Golf Club in Wheeling, WV. The Setters (638 +70/322, 316) shot a second round best 316 on Tuesday, along with Bryant University and Le Moyne College. Pace still trails first place Bryant (635 +67/319, 316) by three strokes.
Leading the way once again for the Setters is Dan Psinakis (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow), who finished day two tied for third in the field of 45 golfers with a score of 154 +12 (75, 79). Steve Cutler of Goldey Beacom College is the individual leader with a score of 150 +8 (76,74).
Along with Psinakis, senior Michael Padham (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) is tied for 10th place with a score of 158 +16 (79,79) and Michael Dominici (Norwalk, CT/Brien McMahon) is tied for 15th place with a score of 159 +17 (81,78). Mark Huntington (Bewster, NY/North Salem) 167 +25 (87, 80) and Bill Delucia (Hamden CT/Notre Dame West Haven) 173 +31 (90, 83) round out day two for the Setters.
The third and final round of the 54-hole event tees off today,
with Pace scheduled to tee off at 9:30 a.m. The tournament champion
advances to the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championship at The
Meadows in Allendale, MI May 22-25. You can follow all the action
