GOLF FINISHES 13TH AT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CHAMPIONSHIPS

SAN DIEGO, CA - The Pace golf team opened their spring schedule, finishing in 13th place with a three-round total of 941 (312-310-319; +101) at the Southern California Intercollegiate Championships hosted by the University of California at San Diego. Lynn University won the event with a three-round score of 861 (286-280-295; +21).

Michael Dominici (Norwalk, CT/BMHS) led the Setters as he finished tied for 26th place with a three round total of 223 (72-74-77; +13). Dan Psinakis (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow) finished in 55th place with a score of +24 (77-79-78-234).

Freshman Matt Dziubina (Shelton, CT/Shelton) came in at +29 (86-70-83), good for 65th place, while junior Mark Huntington (Brewster, NY/North Salem) and Bill DeLucia (Hamden, CT/Notre Dame) finished tied for 75th place with a +45. Huntington posted a three-round score of 85-89-81, while DeLucia finished with 78-87-90 for the tournament.

Freshman Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells) competing on an individual, totaled a three-round score of +33 with a 75-83-85-243, good for tied for 69th place.

Pace returns to action when they travel to Myrtle Beach, SC when they will host the Pace Invitational on March 20-21.
