GOLF WINS PACE UNIVERSITY INVITATIONAL
Michael Dominici Wins Individual Event

MYRTLE BEACH, SC - The Pace University men's golf team, led by senior Mike Dominici (Norwalk, CT), won the 10-team field Pace University Invitational, which was held at the Crown Park Golf Course in Myrtle Beach, SC this past Thursday and Friday, March 20-21. The Setters shot a Round 1 best 306 as the hosts would go on to finish with a two-day team score of 614 (306-308), edging out Brevard College, who finished second with a team score of 615 (317-298), behind a strong second day shooting a Round 2 best 298.

Dominici finished with a two-day score of 145(74-71), which tied him for first place with Brevard's David Martinez, who also shot a 145 (76-69). Dominici would out duel Martinez in a playoff to win the overall individual field of 48 golfers, while also lifting Pace past Brevard for the invitational win.

Freshman Matt Dziubina (Shelton, CT) finished in a tie for 10th place with a score of 155 (75-80), while junior Matt Hurlihy (Croton, NY) finished in a tie for 16th with a score of 157 (78-79). Seniors Dan Psinakis (East Meadow, NY) (81/78) and Bill DeLucia (Hamden, CT) (79/80) each posted a score of 159, good for 19th place.

Pace will next be in action on Monday - Tuesday, March 31st - April 1st, when they travel to Hartefeld National in Avondale, PA to take part in the Goldey-Beacom College Invitational.
