GOLF FINISHES THIRD AT THE AIC INVITATIONAL
SPRINGFIELD, MA- The Pace golf team finished in third place with a two-round total of 623 (311-312) at the AIC Invitational hosted by American International College. Post University won the won the event with a two-round score of 604 (311-293).
Freshman Matt Dziubina (Shelton, CT/Shelton) led the Setters, finishing tied for seventh place with a score of 152 (75-77). Dan Psinakis (East Meadow, NY/East Meadow) and Bill DeLucia (Hamden, CT/Notre Dame) finished tied for 17th place as Psinakis (80-75) and DeLucia (76-79) both scored a 155 for the tournament.
Michael Dominici (Norwalk, CT/BMHS) took 33rd place as he scored a 161 (80-81), while Matt Hurlihy (Croton, NY/Croton) rounded out the team with a 168 (84-84), good for 48th place.
The regular season ends for Pace and the Setters will await
their seeding for the NCAA Division II Northeast Regionals,
scheduled to take place at St. Ann's Golf Club in Middletown, DE
from May 5-7.
