GOLF FINISHES 13TH AT DOWLING COLLEGE FALL INVITATIONAL
RIVERHEAD, NY - The Pace golf team finished 14th with a two round total of 642 (314-328) at the Dowling College Fall Invitational this past weekend. Adelphi University won the event, posting a two-day total of 595 (291-304) with Post University coming in second with a 611 (307-304) for the tournament.
Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells) led the Setters with a two-round total of 146 (71-75), tying him for first place for the tournament. Kyle Munoz (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt Vernon) and Matt Herlihy (Croton, NY/Croton) posted identical 80-84 rounds for a 164, finishing in a seven-way tie for 54th place.
Mark Huntington (Brewster, NY/North Salem) totaled a 168 (83-85) in the two rounds, finishing in 69th place, while Rob Sorrentino (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) finished tied for 76th place with a two-day score of 174 (88-86).
Pace returns to action when they return to Riverhead, NY for the ECAC Tournament from September 21-22.
