GOLF FINISHES TIED FOR 12TH AT THE ECAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
RIVERHEAD, NY - The Pace golf team finished in a two-way tie for 12th place at the ECAC Championships posted a two-round total of 642 (316-326- +74). The Setters ended the tournament tied with American International, who posted identical round scores. Dominican College won the tournament, eclipsing Adelphi University by one stroke 609-610 respectively.
Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells) led the Setters with a two-round total of 153 (75-78), tying him for 14th place for the tournament. Kyle Munoz (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt Vernon) and Matt Herlihy (Croton, NY/Croton) posted identical 82-80 rounds for a 162, finishing in a four-way tie for 50th place.
Mark Huntington (Brewster, NY/North Salem) totaled a 165 (79-86) in the two rounds, finishing in 63rd place, while Rob Sorrentino (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) finished tied for 75th place with a two-day score of 170 (82-88).
Pace returns to action when they will compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Orchards Golf Course in South Hadley, MA on September 28-29.
