GOLF FINISHES IN 6TH PLACE AT THE CHARGER CHALLENGE 

SUFFERN, NY- The Pace golf team finished in 6th place at the Charger Challenge hosted by Dominican College this past weekend, posting a two-round total of 625 (326-299). Adelphi University won the tournament with a two-day total of 592, beating out Saint Thomas Aquinas who took second place with a 606 strokes. Adelphi's Brant Krammerfeld won the tournament with a two-day total of 141.

The top Setter for the tournament was sophomore Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells), posting a score of 150 (77-73), good for a three-way tie for 5th place. Matt Herlihy (Croton, NY/Croton) and Rob Sorrentino (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac each finished tied for 15th place, posting identical totals of 154 (80-74). Kyle Munoz (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt Vernon) came in 44th place with a score of 167 (89-78) for the two-round tournament.

The fall half of the golf season is completed for the Setters. Pace will return to action in the spring semester.
