PACE GOLF FINISHES ELEVENTH AT DOWLING COLLEGE
RIVERHEAD, NY- The Pace University men's golf team placed eleventh at the Dowling College Invitational taken place at the Long Island National golf course. The Setters finished with a team score of 643 (323, 320) over the two day event.
Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells) was the highest finishing golfer for the Setters with a total score of 157 (77, 80), placing him in a tie for 34th.
Matthew Herlihy (Croton, NY/Croton Harmon) finished in a tie for 46th with a two day score of 161 (80, 81).
Rob Sorrentino (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac) scored a 162 (82, 80) and placed in a tie for 50th. Kyle Munoz (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt. Vernon) followed Sorrentino in a tie for 57th with a total score of 163 (84, 79).
Cory Patterson (Sandwich, MA/Sandwich) rounded out the Pace's competitors for the day with a score of 177 (88, 89) which was good for sole possession of 72nd.
Pace golf will return to action on Sunday, October 4 when the team competes at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships at the Crumpin-Fox Golf Club in Bernardston, MA for a two day event.
