PACE GOLF FINISHES FIFTH AT DOMINICAN COLLEGE

SUFFERN, NY- The Pace University men's golf team placed fifth at the Dominican College Invitational taken place at the Spook Rock golf course. The Setters finished with a team score of 635 (321, 314) over the two day event.

Kyle Munoz (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt. Vernon) was the highest finishing golfer for the Setters with a total score of 156 (80, 76), placing him in a tie for 13th.

Matthew Herlihy (Croton, NY/Croton Harmon) finished in a tie for 21st with a two day score of 160 (81, 79).

Kent St. Charles (Wells, ME/Wells) came in a tie for 25th at the event with a combined score of 163 (85,78).

Both Rob Sorrentino (Tarrytown, NY/Archbishop Stepinac), and Cory Patterson (Sandwich, MA/Sandwich) rounded out the competition for the Setters by coming in a tie for 32nd.  Sorrentino and Patterson both shot a 165 over the two days. Sorrentino ended the first day with a score of 84, and shot a 81 on the second day, While Patterson shot a 76 on day one, and an 89 on day two.

Pace golf has completed their 2009 fall season. The Setters will resume golfing in the spring of 2010.
