LACROSSE FALLS TO DOWLING 12-2

BROOKHAVEN, NY- The Pace men's lacrosse team lost to Dowling College 12-2 in a non-conference game. The Setters falls to 0-2 on the season, while the Golden Lions improve to 4-1 on the season.

Michael Mezzo (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) put the Setters on the board early with an unassisted goal in the first two minutes of play. Dowling took control of the game scoring 12 unanswered goals to take a 12-1 lead through three quarters. Justin Page (Eagan, MN/Eagan) scored the final goal of the day with five minutes left in the game to account for the final Setter score.

Pace returns to action when they travel to St. Leo, FL for non-conferences games vs. St. Leo University on Saturday, March 15 at 1:00 pm and Dominican College on Monday, March 17 at 12:00 pm.
