MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY FINISHES 8TH AT HOFSTRA INIVITATIONAL
Hempstead, NY- The Pace men's cross country team finished 8th at the Hofstra Invitational, with Ali Naveed (Sloatsburg, NY/Suffern) being the top finisher for the Setters at the meet.
Naveed finished in 57th place with a time of 19:18.24. The next Setters to finish were Daniel Meury (Mahopac, NY/Mahopac), and Elias Maus (Atlanta, GA/Riverwood) who finished a second apart from each other. Meury finished in 67th place with a time of 21:01.9, while Maus came in 68th place with a time of 21:02.55.
Ben Ogden (Alexandria NH/Newfound Regional) finished in 72nd place with a time of 23:39. Edwin Oloo (Poughkeepsie, NY/Roy C. Ketcham) followed Ogden finishing 73rd with a 25:10 time, and rounding out the competitors for the Setters was Ken Hoag (Allendale, NJ/Northern Highlands) who finished with a time of 25:34 good for 74th place.
