Leading 4-1, Pace starter Kiryl Shada (Pleasant Prairie, WI/Tremper) gave up a three run homerun to Le Moyne's Kortney Meadows.  The Setters should have been out of the inning but Caitlin O'Neill reached on a field error by Pace's shortstop before Shada retired the next two batters.

Pace retook the lead in the top of the 5th when Jessica Bryant's (Brownstown, IN/Brownstown) ground out to the second baseman allowed classmate Patti Hurley (Assonet, MA/Apponequet) to score the go-ahead run.  Krause followed with a single to center field, scoring Shada to give Pace a 6-4 lead.

The bottom of the inning proved disastrous for the Setters as Shada allowed five runs before giving way to Troiano.  Troiano was tagged for four runs with two outs in the fifth before pitching a scoreless 6th inning.  Le Moyne's 13-6 lead after six would stand as Pace was held scoreless in their final at-bats.
