Last Chance to Register for the Pace Softball First Pitch Pasta Dinner Set for November 16

PLEASANTVILLE , NY- The Pace Softball team is wrapping up their fall schedule and as they prepare for their spring season, Head Coach Claudia Stabile invites alumni and friends to join the current team for the inaugural Pace Softball First Pitch Pasta Dinner on Saturday, November 16 at 6:00 pm in the VIP Room of the Goldstein Fitness Center. The current team will be serving a family style pasta dinner to all attendees. The seniors will be recognized and Coach Stabile will provide an outlook for the 2014 season.

The Softball team is coming off a successful season that featured Coach Stabile's 600th career victory in April. In the classroom, the Setters were once again recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as a member of the All-Academic team for 2012-2013 with a 3.433 GPA, which ranked #2 among Northeast-10 Conference Schools and 18th nationally. Coach Stabile is excited about the 2014 season with a strong recruiting class joining a talented core of returners for the upcoming season. The softball program will also see a major change as the Pace Master Plan includes the construction of a new softball field on the Pleasantville campus to begin in the fall of 2014 with the first season set for the spring of 2015.

In addition, Coach Stabile is pleased to announce spring alumni day will be Saturday, April 26 as the Setters take on Le Moyne College in a Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division doubleheader.
