SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAMS FALL TO DREW

PLEASANTVILLE, NY - The Pace University men's and women's swimming and diving teams lost to the Drew University Rangers. The men lost 87-83, while the women lost 118-94.

The Pace men were led by Trevor Paugh, who both took home first place finishes in the 200-Yard IM and the 100-Yard Freestyle. Andrew Lanham (100-Yard Butterfly) and Peter Byrnes (500-Yard Freestyle) also had first place finishes for the Setters. Pace won the 200-Yard Medley Relay, with the team of Craig McClintock, Paugh, Lanham, and Larry DePrimo; and the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay with the team of Lanham, Byrnes, McClintock and DePrimo.

On the women's side, Erin Johanson, Meghan Morely, and Rebecca Mazzarella all took home first place finishes. Johanson placed first in the 200-Yard Freestyle and the 100-Yard Butterfly, Morely finished first in the 50-Yard Freestyle and the 100-Yard Backstroke, while Mazzarella swept the diving events winning the 1 mtr and 3 mtr Diving. The Setters also won 200 -Yard Medley Relay with the team of Morley, Kim LaCroce, Johanson and Kristen Milano.

The Setters return to action on Saturday, January 27th, when they host Vassar College. This is the final home meet of the season and Pace will honor its seniors with Senior Day. The meet is also a Gold Game.
