MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING PLACE 4TH AT VASSAR SPRINT
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - In their season finale, the Pace University men's swimming and diving team finished 4th out of 5 teams that competed in the Vassar College Sprint. Final team scores were Vassar College 1772, Skidmore College 1183, SUNY Maritime 1124, Pace University 105, and Elms College 83.
The Setters were led by Craig McClintock, who both took home first place finishes in the 100-Yard Backstroke and the 400-Yard IM. Peter Byrnes, Trevor Paugh, Andrew Lanham, and Larry DePrimo all had top-five finishes for Pace. Byrnes finished 4th in the 500-Yard Freestyle and 3rd in the 200-Yard Freestyle. Paugh finished 3rd in the 50-Yard Breaststroke, 4th in the 100-Yard Freestyle, and 4th in the 100-Yard Breaststroke. Lanham finished 2nd in the 100-Yard Butterfly, 3rd 50-Yard Butterfly and 3rd in the 100-Yard IM. DePrimo finished 4th in the 50-Yard Freestyle.
Pace finished 2nd in the 200-Yard Medley Relay with
the team of McClintock, Paugh, Lanham and DePrimo. The team of
McClintock, DePrimo, Chris Jankowski and Byrnes finished
3rd in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay.
