MEN'S SWIMMING AND DIVING PLACE 4TH AT VASSAR SPRINT

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - In their season finale, the Pace University men's swimming and diving team finished 4^th out of 5 teams that competed in the Vassar College Sprint. Final team scores were Vassar College 1772, Skidmore College 1183, SUNY Maritime 1124, Pace University 105, and Elms College 83.

The Setters were led by Craig McClintock, who both took home first place finishes in the 100-Yard Backstroke and the 400-Yard IM.  Peter Byrnes, Trevor Paugh, Andrew Lanham, and Larry DePrimo all had top-five finishes for Pace. Byrnes finished 4^th in the 500-Yard Freestyle and 3^rd in the 200-Yard Freestyle. Paugh finished 3^rd in the 50-Yard Breaststroke, 4^th in the 100-Yard Freestyle, and 4^th in the 100-Yard Breaststroke. Lanham finished 2^nd in the 100-Yard Butterfly, 3^rd 50-Yard Butterfly and 3^rd in the 100-Yard IM. DePrimo finished 4^th in the 50-Yard Freestyle.

Pace finished 2^nd in the 200-Yard Medley Relay with the team of McClintock, Paugh, Lanham and DePrimo. The team of McClintock, DePrimo, Chris Jankowski and Byrnes finished 3^rd in the 200-Yard Freestyle Relay.
