SWIMMING AND DIVING TEAMS WRAP UP SEASON AT RAMAPO INVITATIONAL  

RAMAPO, NJ - The men's and women's swimming and diving teams concluded their 2007-08 season with a tri-match at Ramapo College. The women's team lost to Ocean County College 47-41 and Ramapo 59-30, while the men's team also fell to OCC 64-25 and Ramapo 60-29.

On the women's side Erin Johanson (Wakefield, MA/Wakefield) took home a pair of first place finishes in the 200 freestyle (2:07.55) and the 100 free style with a time of 59.27. Meaghan Morley (Delhi, NY/Delhi Central) won the 50 freestyle (26.18) and the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.18. Callie Grace (Dalton, MA/Miss Halls) took first in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:13.90 and finished second behind Morley in the 50 freestyle, posting a time of 27.14. Ellen Lynch (Rockaway, NY/The Mary Louis Academy) took third in a pair of events, taking 100 fly with a time of 1:23.96 and the 500 freestyle with a time of 6:50.58. The 200 medley relay team of Morley, Grace, Johanson and Lynch finished second with a time of 2:02.55.

For the men, Craig McClintock (Valhalla, NY/Valhalla) took first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.27 and the 400 IM with a time of 4:54.65, while placing second in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.34. Jhovahn Gibbs (Kingston, Jamaica/Ardenne) took three third place finishes in the 50 freestyle with a time of 31.81, the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:36.49 and the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:10.34. Peter Byrnes (Kingston, PA/Wyoming Valley West) took first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:30.72 and placed third in the 100 fly with a time of 1:05.93.
