SWIMMING RESULTS FROM THE BENTLEY INVITATIONAL
WALTHAM, MA- The Pace swimming and diving team competed at the Bentley Invitational. Yoshi Kameyama took first place and set a new school record in the 100-yard freestyle, eclipsing his own mark set in the last meet against Staten Island.
Kameyama posted a 49.34 time in the 100-yard freestyle, breaking his school record set just days earlier at a home meet against the College of Staten Island. Kameyama also won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.71 and placed seventh in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:31.90. Peter Byrnes placed 8th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 11:30.45. Craig McClintock took 10th in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:13.50, 12th in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:28.09 and 17th in the 200-yard freestyle posting a 2:00.37.
On the women's side, Eric Johanson placed seventh in the
200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:07.07 and sixth in the 200-yard
backstroke with a time of 2:21.57. Meaghan Morley took fourth in
the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:19.80 and eighth in the
50-yard freestyle posting a 26.79. Nicole Hensel finished 19th in
the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 28.97. Callie Grace placed
13th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:50.10 and 14th
in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:27.94. The quartet of Morley,
Johanson, Hensel and Grace placed 7th in the 400-yard medley relay
with a time of 4:37.07.
