DICKSON MEN'S SWIMMER/FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK AND GENTILE WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
SOUTH EASTON, MA- Kevin Dickson (Coldingham, Scotland/Wallace High) has been named the Northeast-10's Men's Swimming Athlete and Freshman of the Week, while Cassandra Gentile (Cortland, Manor/Walter Panas) was named the Northeast 10's Women's Diving Athlete of the Week for their performances in the two meets Pace participated in this past week.
Dickson finished his week with five first place finishes in the two meets. Against Lehman College Dickson took first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.95 and the 200 IM with a time of 2:04.58. Dickson set new records in both of those events. In the tri-match against Assumption and St. Michael's, Dickson won the 200-yard butterfly (2:21.84), 100-yard backstroke (55.13), and 200-yard freestyle (1:48.85) events.
As for Gentile, she took home first place in both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter dives against Lehman College. She posted a 228.15 score in the 1M dive, and totaled a 245.55 in the 3M.
Callie Grace (Dalton, MA/Miss Hall's), and Eric Fletcher (Katonah, NY/John Jay-Cross River) both landed on the Northeast-10's Weekly Honor Roll.
Grace took home three first place finishes this past week.
Fletcher placed first in the 3M dive with a score of 183.38.
The Setters return to action on Friday, November 13 when they go to Riverdale, NY for a tri-meet with Hunter, and Manhattan College, for a 6:30 pm start.
