DICKSON MEN'S SWIMMING FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK AND GENTILE WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
SOUTH EASTON, MA- Kevin Dickson (Coldingham, Scotland/Wallace High) has been named the Northeast-10's Men's Freshman of the Week, while Cassandra Gentile (Cortland, Manor/Walter Panas) was named the Northeast 10's Women's Diving Athlete of the Week for their performances in Pace's meet against Vassar College.
Dickson finished the meet with three first place finishes against Vassar. The freshman took first in the; 100-yard freestyle (48.96), the 100-yard butterfly (54.23), and the 200 freestyle (1:48.24).
As for Gentile, she took home first place in both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter dives against Vassar College. She posted a 221.77 score in the 1M dive, and totaled a 224.47 in the 3M.
Jenna Wood (Fairport, NY/Fairport), and Eric Fletcher (Katonah, NY/John Jay-Cross River) both landed on the Northeast-10's Weekly Honor Roll.
Wood totaled three first place finishes against Vassar. Those finishes came in the 200-yard Butterfly (2:17.89), the 100-yard Freestyle (56.01) and the 200-IM (2:17.00).
While Fletcher, placed second in both the 3M (153.52) dive, and the 1M dive (129.75).
The Setters return to action on Saturday, December 5 when they go to Bentley University in Waltham, MA for the Bentley Invitational which will be a two-day event.
