TRACK AND FIELD AT BRYANT UNIVERSITY INVITATIONAL
SMITHFIELD, RI- The Pace University men's and women's Track and
Field teams competed in the Bryant University Invitational.
The team continued their streak of record breaking performances as
Caylie Kachinski broke the school record in the 400 Meter Dash.
Kachinski finished 8th in the 400 Meter dash with a time of
1:05.78, a new school record. She also finished 8th in the
200 Meter dash with a time of 29.01. Allie Piazza checked in
at No. 10 in the Shotput with a distance of 6.10m (20'25").
Mike Tanzi placed 3rd overall in the 800 Meter dash with a time
of 2:02.19 and 5th overall in the 1500 Meter dash with a time of
4:13.39. Brandon Rush checked in at 3rd overall in the
Shotput with a distance of 33'1". Chez Ricchezza placed 5th
overall in the men's Discus with a personal best of 110'4".
Chris Hansen placed 7th overall in the Javelin with a throw of
141'4".
