SETTERS BREAK EIGHT SCHOOL RECORDS AT WESLEYAN

The Pace University track team continued their streak of consecutive meets with a school record broken as the Setters saw eight marks broke at the Wesleyan College Elmer Swanson Track and Field Invitational.

Ashley Wallace won the Discus Throw with a school record toss of 109'08" while also placing third in the Shotput with a distance of 36' 5 3/4".  She also anchored the 4x100M relay team that also featured Caylie Kachinski, Kelly Fazio and Evelyn Grahm that broke the school record with a time of 53.16. Cachinski would also break the record in the Triple Jump with a distance of 30'5 1/2".  Kachinski, Graham and Fazio, as well as Katie Breault, also broke the school record in the 4x400M Relay with a time of 4:49.25.

Brandon Rush broke the school record in the 200M with a time of 24.19 while also placing 7th in the Shotput with a personal best throw of 41'2 1/2".  Mike Tanzi ran a career-best 2:01.31 in the 800M, good for 4th place.  Tanzi anchored the 4x400M relay that also featured Kency Gilet, Avery Gilmore and Keneil Edmond that broke the school record with a time of 3:37.94. 

Gilet also broke the 400M Hurdle record with a time of 59.21.

Kerri Kaylor set the new school record in the Javelin with a throw of 102'2" and Heather Van Asselt threw a personal best in the Hammer with a distance of 73'10".  Chez Ricchezza also had a personal best in the Shotput with a distance of 38'4".
