VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO DOWLING, 3-0

PLEASANTVILLE, NY - The Pace University women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference match to Dowling College 3-0 (18-30, 26-30, 23-30) at the Goldstein Fitness Center tonight. The Setters fall to 2-2 on the season, while the Golden Lions move over the .500 mark at 8-7.

Freshman Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Polytechnic) led the Setters in kills with eight and solo blocks with two. Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) totaled five kills and seven digs, while Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) posted a double-double with 22 assists and 10 digs. Rebecca DePaoli (Brewster, NY/North Salem) and Stefanie Aboagye (Bristol, CT/Bristol Eastern) each tallied four kills apiece, while Aboagye chipped in 10 digs. Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) moved to the libero position for the final two games, totaling a team-high 22 digs for the match.

Pace returns to action on Saturday, September 15th when they host Assumption College in a Northeast-10 Conference match at the Goldstein Fitness Center for a 1:00 pm start time.
