D'AGOSTINI'S TRIPLE-DOUBLE LEADS PACE TO WIN

PLEASANTVILLE, NY - Senior setter Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) posted triple-double as the Pace volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (30-17, 30-15, 30-17) win over Southern Connecticut State in a Northeast-10 Conference match. The Setters improve to 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the NE-10, while the Owls drop to 9-14 and 2-5 in conference play.

D'Agostini totaled 10 kills, 30 assists and 19 digs, while hitting a staggering .818. Her performance was topped by junior Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) who led the team with 11 kills, while adding 14 digs. Furka posted a astounding .611 hitting percentage along with four service aces, while not committing an attack error all match. Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) led the team with seven blocks, while chipping in eight kills, six assists, three aces and seven digs. Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Polytechnic) recorded four blocks and five kills, while Rebecca DePaoli (Brewster, NY/North Salem) added eight kills. As a team, the Setters totaled 13 total blocks.

Pace returns to action on Friday, October 5 when they travel to Oakdale, NY for the Dowling College Tournament, where they will open with Adelphi at 3:30 pm.
