VOLLEYBALL ROLLS TO SECOND STRAIGHT CONFERENCE WIN

MANCHESTER, NH - Junior Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) posted a game-high 11 kills and chipped in 13 digs as the Pace volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (30-23, 30-19, 30-18) win over the Penmen of Southern New Hampshire. The Setters improve to 8-11 overall and 5-3 in the Northeast-10 Conference, while the Penmen drop to 8-11 and 3-6 in conference play.

Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) and Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Polytechnic) each totaled eight kills, while senior setter Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) tallied a game-high 28 kills. D'Agostini added nine digs and four service aces in the match. Victoria Pomilus (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt. Vernon) had a game-best five total blocks, while Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) recorded a game-high 15 kills.

Pace returns to action on Saturday, October 20 when they travel across town to take on the Hawks of Saint Anselm College in a Northeast-10 match at 11:00 am. The Setters will also play Adelphi in a match scheduled for 1:00 pm.
