VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO ADELPHI IN NEUTRAL
COURT MATCH
MANCHESTER, NH - Rebecca DePaoli (Brewster, NY/North Salem) led the Setters with 10 kills and added 11 digs as Pace fell to Adelphi 3-1 (23-30, 19-30, 30-24, 29-31) in a non-conference match played at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. The Setters earlier in the day defeated Saint Anselm 3-0 and their overall record moves to 9-12 on the season.
Junior Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) posted nine kills and chipped in 21digs, while Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) tallied seven kills and 14 digs along with three total blocks. Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) finished with 34 assists, 10 digs and six kills. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) recorded a team-high 28 digs, as the six Pace players posted double-figures in digs, giving the team 108 for the match.
Pace returns to action on Friday, October 26 for Senior Night
when the Setters will honor their two graduating seniors as they
host Stonehill College in a Northeast-10 match for a 7:00 pm start
time.
