VOLLEYBALL DOWNS ST. ANSELM, 3-0
MANCHESTER, NH - The Pace University women's volleyball team defeated the Hawks of St. Anselm College in three straight games taking the match 3-0 (30-21, 30-14, 30-25) in Northeast-10 Conference action today. The Setters improve to 9-11 on the season and 6-3 in the NE-10, while the Hawks fall to 3-17 overall and 2-10 in conference play.
Junior Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Book) led the Setters attack recording a game-high 15 kills with a .444 hitting percentage. Classmate Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) and freshman Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Polytechnic) each chipped in with nine kills apiece.
Senior Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) set up the Pace attack posting a double-double with a game-high 26 assists and 10 digs, to go along with seven kills. Freshman Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) finished with a game-high 13 digs. The Setters finished with 5 team blocks for the game.
Alana McNeil's team-high 9 kills led St. Anselm, while Kelly
O'Dea recorded a team-best 21 assists. Samantha Regan led all Hawks
with 10 digs. St. Anselm also posted 5 team blocks for the game
