VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS STONEHILL 3-0
PLEASANTVILLE, NY - The Setter volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 win over the Skyhawks of Stonehill College 3-0 (30-15, 30-28, 30-23) in a Northeast-10 Conference match. Pace improves to 10-12 and 7-3 in the NE-10, while the Skyhawks drop to 9-19 and 4-8 in conference play.
Victoria Pompilus (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt. Vernon) led the Setters with 11 kills, while totaling three solo blocks. Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Poly) posted 10 kills and six total blocks, while Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) also tallied 10 kills and added 10 digs. Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) totaled nine kills and 14 digs. Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) finished with 36 assists, nine digs and five kills. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) recorded a team-high 22 digs.
Pace returns to action on Saturday, October 27 when the Setters
host Bryant University in a Northeast-10 match for a 12:30 pm start
time.
