VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO NYIT IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE
OLD WESTBURY, NY- The Pace volleyball team wrapped up its regular season schedule with 3-1 (17-30, 30-28, 19-30, 22-30) loss to New York Tech. The Setters end the regular season with a 12-15 record and prepare for the postseason as they have secured the #5 seed in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament set to begin Friday at Bentley College.
Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) posted a game-high 18 kills, while hitting .227. Danielle Furka (Massapeaqua, NY/Massapeaqua) eight kills, 10 digs and a pair of service aces. Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Poly) chipped in seven kills and three digs. Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) recorded 37 assists, eight digs and four kills.
The #5 seeded Setters will travel to Bentley
College in Waltham, Mass. for the Northeast Conference Tournament
as Pace will face the #4 seed Franklin Pierce on Friday, November 9
for a 7:30 pm match.
