VOLLEYBALL DEFEATES FRANKLIN PIERCE; ADVANCES TO NE-10 SEMIFINALS
WALTHAM, MA- The Pace volleyball team defeates Franklin Pierce 3-0 (30-19, 30-25, 30-27) to advance to the Northeast-10 Tournament semifinals, where the Setters will face the #1 seeded Bulldogs of Bryant University on Saturday, November 10 at 2 pm.
Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) led the Setters 13 kills and chipped in 10 digs and four service aces. Danielle Furka (Massapeaqua, NY/Massapeaqua) totaled 11 kills, while Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) posted a game-high 18 digs. Ashley D'Agostini (San Diego, CA/Torrey Pines) recorded a game-high 39 assists.
The Setters move on to the Northeast-10 semifinals
to face off against the #1 seed Bryant on Saturday, November 10 at
2 pm at the Dana Center on the campus of Bentley College in
Waltham, Mass.
