WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL DROPS SECOND STRAIGHT IN LOSS TO SAINT ROSE
ALBANY, NY- The Pace women's volleyball team dropped its second straight match, falling to the Golden Knights of the College Saint Rose 3-0 (24-26, 16-25, 20-25) in a Northeast-10 Conference meeting. The Setters drop to 11-7 and 3-3 in the NE-10, while the Golden Knights improve to 10-5 and 5-2 in conference play.
Danielle Furka (Massapequa, NY/Massapequa) totaled eight kills and 15 digs, while Korena Johnson (Friendswood, TX/Clear Brook) registered seven kills and a pair of blocks. Victoria Pompilus (Mount Vernon, NY/Mount Vernon) was again solid at the net, posting three blocks, while Shea Hansen (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain) totaled 29 assists and nine digs.
Pace return to action Wednesday, October 15 when the Setters
travel to Worcester, MA to take on Northeast-10 foe Assumption
College for a 7:00 pm match.
