PACE DOMINATES QUEENS 3-0

PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace women's volleyball team controlled their match against Queens College from start to finish to shut out the Knights, 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-18). The Setters break .500 with the victory and improve their record to 4-3 overall, while the Knights fall to 1-4 overall with the loss.

The Setters were led by Susana Verdugo-Del Real (El Centro, CA/Southwest) who totaled nine kills with a .421 hitting percentage. Sophomore Shea Hansen (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain), totaled a match-high 25 assists. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) also contributed to Pace's offense with a match-high 13 digs and also served up four aces in the victory.

Queens was led by junior Camila Dantas who totaled a match-high ten kills, and came up one dig short of a double-double totaling nine.

The Setters will be back in action tomorrow, when they hit the road to face off against non-conference opponent Dowling College for a 7 pm start.
