SETTERS FALL TO NEW HAVEN IN NE-10 OPENER
WEST HAVEN, Conn.- The Pace women's volleyball dropped its conference opened 3-0 to the University of New Haven. The Setters fell 25-12, 25-9 and 25-18 to drop to 5-5 and 0-1 in the NE-10. The Chargers improve to 8-3 and 1-0 in conference play.
Victoria Pompilus (Mt. Vernon, NY/Mt. Vernon) led the Setters with six kills along with one block. Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) chipped in with thee kills and eight digs. Shea Hansen (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain) recorded 11 assists and four digs. Stephanie Kazmierczak (Buffalo, NY/City Honors) tallied a team-best nine digs.
Pace returns to action on Sunday, September 27 when they will travel to Worcester, MA for a Northeast-10 Conference match against the Assumption College set for 2 pm.
