PACE IMPROVES TO 8-0 AT HOME AGAINST ST. ROSE
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace women's volleyball team took the first two sets (25-11, 25-19) against the Golden Knights of St. Rose. After dropping the third set 25-21 the Setters came back to win the fourth and final set 25-21 to take the match 3-1.
The win improves Pace's overall record to 15-7 and 7-3 in conference play. The Golden Knights of St. Rose fall to 12-11 overall and 3-7 in the Northeast-10.
The offense for Pace was led by Susana Verdugo-Del Real (El Centro, CA/Southwest), who totaled a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs. Sianna Johnson (Long Beach, CA/Long Beach Poly) also attacked for 12 kills on the night.
Shea Hansen (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain) contributed with a match high 35 assists. Hansen served up five aces, along with totaling 12 digs which gave her a double-double night.
The Setters will return to action on Tuesday, October 27 when the travel to New Haven, CT to face off against the Southern Connecticut State Owls in a Northeast-10 Conference match set to begin at 7 pm.
