PACE CAN'T HOLD ON IN NE-10 AGAINST UMASS-LOWELL
PLEASANTVILLE, NY- The Pace women's volleyball team took the first set 25-23 against the UMass-Lowell, but then dropped the final three sets (25-14, 25-22, 25-16) ultimately falling to the River Hawks 3-1.
Pace falls to 16-9 overall and 8-5 in conference play. UMass Lowell improves to 17-9 overall, while their record goes to 9-4 in the Northeast-10.
Victoria Pompilus (Mount Vernon, NY/Mount Vernon) and Nora Rugova (Mt. Kisco, NY/Fox Lane) both attacked for a team-high eleven kills on the day.
Elyse Rowland (Antioch, CA/Deer Valley) totaled a match-high 25 digs, while sophomore Shea Hansen (Mesa, AZ/Red Mountain) made 33 assists on the afternoon
The Setters will return to action on Friday, November 6 when the Setters take on NE-10 opponent Southern New Hampshire University at 7 pm in the Goldstein Fitness Center for Senior Night.
