Volleyball

Stafford Barzey enters his second season at Pace. Coach Barzey has an extensive career in women's volleyball in the local area. He most recently served as the head coach for the Jersey Girls Volleyball Club (D.I.G.S.) out of New Milford, NJ from December of 2002 until May of 2006.  During that time, Barzey also assumed the position of consultant with the Hunter College Men's Volleyball team. 

He is currently a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and the Professional Association of Volleyball Officials (PAVO).  He has passed the USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program Level I and is awaiting Level II certification. 

Barzey currently holds an A.S. in Computer Science from LaGuardia Community College and is working towards a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics at Hunter College, part of the City University of New York system.
